Goddess: Is this your axe gentleman?	देवी: क्या यह तुम्हारी कुल्हाड़ी है सज्जन?

Woodcutter: No, no; This is a golden axe but my axe was made of iron.	लकड़हारा: नहीं, नहीं; यह तो सोने की कुल्हाड़ी है, लेकिन मेरी कुल्हाड़ी लोहे की बनी थी।
(The River Goddess went into the water again and came out with a silver axe.)	(नदी देवी फिर पानी में चली गई और एक चांदी की कुल्हाड़ी लेकर बाहर आई।)
Goddess: Is this your axe dear?	देवी: क्या यह तुम्हारी कुल्हाड़ी है प्रिय?
Woodcutter: No, no; This is a silver axe but my axe was made of iron.	लकड़हारा: नहीं, नहीं; यह चांदी की कुल्हाड़ी है, लेकिन मेरी कुल्हाड़ी लोहे की बनी थी।

Goddess: Is this yours?	देवी: क्या यह तुम्हारी है?

Goddess: You are a very honest man. I am pleased with you. I will reward you for your honesty.	देवी: तुम बहुत ही ईमानदार इंसान हो। मैं तुमसे बहुत खुश हूँ। मैं तुम्हारी ईमानदारी के लिए तुम्हें इनाम दूंगी।
